GAINS Academy to begin

With partial funding released, we are set to begin a section of our GAINS programming tomorrow, Monday, Setember 20, 2010 at 2:15 until 5:00 pm for Credit Recovery.

Please know how valued each of you are to us as we have worked together to provide the best academic programming available for our shared children.

We will have students meet initially in the auditorium for directions; then, we will disperse from there.

2:15 pm after dismissal
Where: Glencliff High School cafeteria
Who: Dual Enrollment students who signed up for Psychology, Nutrition, Keyboarding and/or
College Algebra

What is GAINS?

Glencliff Academics in Non-traditional Settings (GAINS) is an Academy at Glencliff that works to support students' academic needs via computerized learning opportunities.

We do this through:

• Content Recovery
• Credit Recovery
• Twilight Program

This year, we will support students through the following programs within GAINS Academy:

• Saturday Enrichment

• Content Recovery

There will be no Flexible Scheduling Program within G.A.I.N.S. this school year. Be sure to visit with your School Counselor for information as needed.

We're making G.A.I.N.S. at Glencliff!

It won't be long before we're all back into another school year. With each new beginning, comes change. For me, that means being the Principal of G.A.I.N.S. Academy at Glencliff High School.
